Blue Tier Giant “Big Tree”

The Blue Tier Giant offers both a 15 minute walk or an hour loop.

This walk houses a landmark - appropriately deemed the “Big Tree”, it’s the widest living tree in Australia at 60 metres high and 19.4 metres wide (that’s around 15 people with their arms spread around it). The hand built track weaves through the landscape and divides into the Big Tree trail and a longer circuit, both circuits offer amazing views along the handbuilt track.

How to get there

From Weldborough follow the Tasman highway towards St Helens, the turnoff (on the left) to Lottah Road and the Blue Tier Giant Walk is clearly signposted 7 km from Weldborough.
