Route 5

Route 5 is very similar to Route 4 but adds in an extra climb and descent combo - Long Shadows Upper and Flickity Sticks Upper.

This route encompasses extra technical difficulty and challenge via The Great Race and 23 stitches, be aware 23 Stitches is rated 'very difficult' for good reason - so ride within your limits, you have been warned.

Route 5 takes you along the historic water races that give the Great Race its name and give you the best views of Derby.
