A celebration of all things Derby, 17 - 19 April 2020
What is it?
The festivals aim is to celebrate the town of Derby and cement its reputation as one of the world’s great Mountain Biking destinations.
Dorset Council has teamed up with Shimano and the Tasmanian government to showcase regional produce, craft beer, wine and spirits with our amazing Mountain biking trails. The events team will create a unique festival experience by creating a hub of live music, food, drinks, entertainment and access to the latest MTB gear on the planet.
DerbyFest will be a family focussed mountain bike festival showcasing all things mountain biking and all things Derby. The festival will include hosted bike demos, shuttled rides, gear vendors, masterclasses, Pro rides, local craft beer and wine, great bands, food trucks, skills clinics, kids rides and as much gorgeous Derby dirt as you can get your bike down.
When is it?
DerbyFest 2020 is on April 17th – 19th.The mountain biking in Derby is absolutely world class and April sees peak trail conditions on offer for the 140km? trail network.
Limited festival and camping tickets will be released, so get in early to secure your place at DerbyFest 2020.
Sites are pre-purchased but not pre-allocated. There will be two camping areas designated for the festival.

Derby Cricket Ground (approx. 500m from the festival hub) – Previously self-contained campers only but due to high demand we have opened up additional space at the Cricket Ground.
A $30 camping pass will get you 1 site for the entire weekend.
