This high elevation trail offers an exciting journey around the Cascade Dam - the most beautiful lake ride in Australia. Traversing through Beech and Eucalypt forests, past swimming holes, across bridges, crystal clear creeks, moss covered boulders and slab rocks. Running beside the water's edge in places it climbs up to stunning views over the lake. It finishes with a white knuckle descent back down to Devilwolf - one of the fastest and most thrilling descents found in Blue Derby. Dam Busters takes its name from the 1929 disaster when the dam burst after heavy rains, wiping out half of the township of Derby and causing many deaths.
